FLEURIEU PENINSULA LIMESTONE COAST

Perhaps one of the world's most beautiful and unique wilderness holiday destinations. Kangaroo Island offers the visitor outstanding natural beauty, wildlife, pure air and clean water. This is Australia's third largest island, and it is eight times the size of Singapore!

With thirty percent of this land protected as national and conservation parks, you can expect a holiday full of wildlife surprises and stunning natural beauty when you visit Kangaroo Island. Allow yourself a three-day short break or stay for a week and let the island's tranquility seep into your bones.

Fly it or ferry it to Kangaroo Island, South Australia's unique island wilderness. Camp out, caravan it or spend your nights in a hotel or resort by the beach or in a lighthouse keepers cottage. Pack your hiking gear for observing nature as nature intended. Take an expert guided nature tour; meet some of the locals - dolphins, sea lions, penguins, wallabies, goannas, koalas, and of course kangaroos; go scuba diving among walls of coral - you might even come face to face with the elusive leafy sea dragon; dine on seafood, cheeses, rock lobsters, dangle a line from a jetty or charter a boat for some serious deep sea fishing. Come to Kangaroo Island and discover a unique part of the world - a very special island with all the scenic variety of mainland Australia, without the crowds.
